Leeds Castle - Leeds Castle, set on two islands in the centre of a motionless lake has been called 'the loveliest castle in the world'. Home to six of the medieval Queens of England and a Royal Palace of King Henry VIII, it is a treasure house of fine arts, tapestries and furnishings. Outside there are 500 acres of parkland and gardens to explore, and attractions include a Dog Collar Museum. a duckery, an aviary, maze and grotto, greenhouses and a vineyard.
	Tenterden - Tenterden is known as The Jewel in the Weald and the people of the town try hard to preserve its character. Dawdle down the High Street, with its many good eating establishments. You could try a traditional English pub like the William Caxton or watch the world go by outside the White Lion, beer in hand of course. You may fancy an Indian, Turkish, Chinese or Italian or pop into the Lemon Tree for English food and English wine. Pegotty's tearoom serve cream teas and light snacks so the choice is yours.
Kent and East Sussex Railway - Tenterden is the home of The Kent and East Sussex Railway. From Tenterden Town station young and old alike can enjoy a nostalgic trip through seven miles of beautiful countryside aboard one of the line's full size steam trains.
	Sissinghurst Castle Gardens - One of the world's most celebrated gardens, the creation of Vita Sackville-West and her husband Sir Harold Nicolson is only 4 miles away.
Biddenden Vineyard and Cider - The vineyards are situated 1.5 miles from the lovely weald village of Biddenden. Individual wines produced from each variety of vine. One of Kent's best known cider producing plants made from freshly pressed Bramley and desert apples.
	Rye - Historic Rye with its cobbled street and picturesque harbour with fine restaurants and antique shops.
France - Eurostar trains direct to Paris from Ashford International Station have a journey time of approx. 2.5 hours. Visit the French ports either by Euro Tunnel from Cheriton or the ferries from Dover - both dirct to Calais.
	Golf - Close by we have the Nick Faldo designed Chart Hills Golf Club . Also, the Weald of Kent Golf Club and London Beech. All these courses are picturesque and have been designed to be environmentally friendly, conserving the landscape and wildlife interest .
